Merry Christmas

It's finally Christmas everybody! All the vlogs you've been following from the beginning of the month are over, the presents were given and received, the big lunch table was set and eaten and all you've been left of is mulled wine, more wishes to everyone and an endless night ahead!
I always make a greater deal of New Year's Eve than Christmas day and that's when Santa comes to Greece as well but I hope you all had an amazing day and a more adventurous and wonderful night!

Purple Mascara?

There was an offer recently going on at Sephora with 35% on mascaras. I was quite disappointed that the offer didn’t include the drugstrore mascaras as well but I could buy a high end at the price of a drugstore one. Not bad right?

My Body Shop Experience

OMG this is gonna be so Christmasy! I haven’t posted anything about this event I was invited to (I just like the sound of it, I feel like such a celebrity!), needless to say my first ever event, just because I didn’t have enough photos and you wouldn’t get the idea. However, those of you whoo follow me on Twitter have definitely seen some preview! The Body Shop had a pre-Christmas event in November and it seemed like the whole town gathered up!

Struggling with the lines

I was always very jealous of those girls who could draw a very precise fine line in one go on their eyelids. Every time I saw anybody do it, either it was youtube or a friend, I’d start shouting ‘How on earth do you do that and make it seem so easy at the same time?’. I was struggling every single day nose pressed up the mirror to create the perfect line, only to end up smudging it to seem like I did it on purpose. I’m only capable of using a pencil liner and only by pulling on my eye like there’s no tomorrow! 

MUA Palettes

A new brand that I tried in November was MUA. I’ve heard so many bloggers and youtubers internationally raving about their palettes. There’s a rumour going on out there that their Undressed Palette is very similar to the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay, with the price being way too different; £4 opposed to £36!

Sunday's Beauty Tip

This Sunday we’ll talk hair. Isn’t it nice to feel like your hair has been treated from a saloon once in a while? And isn’t it better if you do it at home and save the money?

I truly believe that our hair goes through a lot everyday. Except for the damage from the air pollution and the environment in general, we ourselves put them through a lot in order to look gorgeous! We blow dry it nearly everyday, use high heat tools like curling tongs or straighteners, style it with products which are usually prone to damage it and some of us colour it really frequently. Don’t you think it needs a good pampering session once in a while? That’s what Sundays are here for!

The Lip Stain crush test

I have to be honest with you. I went through the phase that I didn’t think that lipstick is important since it would disappear half an hour after I put it on. At that point I used to have 2-3 lipsticks and they just lingered there in my drawer without me even bothering to put any on, even when going out clubbing. Then, I was drown into the concept of make-up as a whole and started to want my lipstick to last. I hate taking my first sip of coffee at work only to realise that half my lipstick is on my cup. So then I went back to the first phase. And then I discovered lip stains. They all promised me nontransferable colour and moisturised lips. Walking around in the office not caring to reapply lipstick sounded like heaven! Amen!

I Heart Fall Tag, the Blogger's way

So, why does the fact that this is blogger and not youtube restrain me from doing a tag? Well, in my mind it doesn’t! The fact alone that I don’t own a decent camera, or that I’m too much of a coward plus too insecure to upload a video (and YES I applaud thee for being confident enough to do it) or that I become mute the instant you press record or all of the above factors together do NOT hold me back! I watched so many youtubers doing the I Heart Fall Tag and I want to do it as well. WRITTEN. With links. And pictures. Also, MissGlamorazzi tagged me when she did hers; well, not personally like in 'I tag you Georgina'! However, she wrote I tag you in the description box and I took it really seriously, didn't wanna let her down! And I know I might be too little too late with this but it just started to feel like autumn here so don't judge! Enjoy!

Elf oh my sweet Elf! You always spoil us with your constant offers and pamper us with discounts! After discovering elf my life has changed and my makeup collection has expanded so much that I had to find a new way to store everything! The prices are so reasonable and the products are definitely value for money. 

Last time I ordered I was craving lipsticks! So, there you go!

Eyeslices review and Giveaway

Ok, I know I’m not gonna talk about anything new but still I felt the need! I was contacted by the company BioIn when I was in Russia and they asked me to send me some samples of their new products. I was super excited because this was my first PR email EVER! So, YES, I jumped up and did a 30 second dance party of my own (for those of you who haven’t yet discovered the awesomeness of Grey’s Anatomy check this out!

Rimmel Obsession continued

By now I believe I have elaborated my Rimmel obsession enough… And I hope that by now you have discovered its miracles as well!

One would think that a pencil eyeliner wouldn’t be worth covering a whole blogpost. However, I decided to rumble about it just because I was thrilled!

Ingrown fear

I don’t know whether any of you has ever been facing problems with ingrown hair after waxing but it has become a constant pain for me for the last two years. 

I've been waxing on my own since I moved abroad and I didn't know any trustworthy  saloon to get it done for me and since it saved me a ton of money I continued doing it after I got back home as well. I use the veet warm wax for my bikini and a roll-on depilatory wax heater (like this) for my legs, arms and any other parts of the body that are not that sensitive. The thing is that every single month I noticed that the weaker the hairs the more difficult to grow properly. They tend to grow under the skin and I have to pluck them with tweezers resulting in redness and usually small wounds which leave scars. I even got a really big spot in my bikini line a year ago which was really painful and was growing too much that I had to have it surgically removed.

Check Matte

I have noticed that lately I am really into trying new powders. Maybe it’s the fact that I can never find the best one that suits my needs perfectly. Well, to be honest, I have found the best one and it is a macstudio fix powder plus foundation but me being as cheap as I am after discovering online shopping and all the dupes and alternatives available I am not even close to spending that much money again for a single powder that wouldn’t last me more than a month!

Being willing to jeopardise getting a texture or colour that would not suit my complexion this time I chose the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. 

Sleek my life

I recently, well recently meaning like a month ago, decided to try the Sleek products. I have been in research of an affordable bb cream and I’ve been following a lot of british beauty bloggers (oh, how lucky you are for the prices and availability in your country you’ll never know!) and someone mentioned the Sleek bb cream. They said that it is the closest thing a western company made to the original Asian bb creams. Being massively disappointed by the Garnier one, being runny and feeling just like a tinted moisturizer really, I decided to give it a go. I’ve never heard of the brand before, my country is not the perfect destination for beauty shopping, so I just visited their website and started browsing. I found a lot of stuff that I would love to try but the pricing was not cut to my budget. However, since I was paying the ridiculous 7.99€ shipping charge, which I'm happy to announce that they have reduced to 1.72€ for Europe, I couldn’t resist; however, I restricted myself only to an item I really needed. I’m running out of my MAC pressed powder so I was looking for a cheaper alternative. Placed the order and crossed my fingers!
