Valentine's Day Look

I don’t normally post two days in a row but since today is Valentine’s Day and most of you will be going out on dates or partying with you girlfriends probably ending up with some date for future reference I thought I’d give you the look I will be wearing tonight since my fiancé has already asked me out!

I went for a rather pink toned eyes, flushed cheeks and shiny lips. For my base I used my beloved Catrice All Matte Plus in 020 Nude Beige and for concealer I went for my trusted Collection Lasting Perfection one in Light. I used the Inglot Corrective Illuminator for the under eye area and I popped some on the bridge of my nose as well. To get the flushed cheeks effect I used the Fashionista Blusher in Blushing Coral which is a vibrant pink but don’t let the pan scare you; when applied with a stippling brush light handed and blended really well it gives you the Snow White look. As always, I went all over my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Pink Blossom to take the shine away, although if the foundation you are using gives you a matte finish like mine and you are not super oily, unlike me, you might skip that step!

For my eyebrows I used the Essence Eyebrow Stylish Set, the lighter shade in the beginning of the brows and the darker one in the arch and tail.

Now for the eye makeup, I went for a subtle shimmery pink with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Inked in Pink and a little bit of MAC Omega on the crease to create some depth on the eyelid. I also went for a thin line with the Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner very close to the lash line and with a slight wing. For full and sultry lashes, after I curled them with my Sonia Kashuk Eyelash Curler, I used the MakeUp For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara and on the lower waterline I used the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Nude, to create the illusion of a bigger and more ‘awake’ eye.

Lastly, for the juicy and shiny lips I used the Maybelline Color Elixir gloss in Rose Redefined which is super moisturizing, non sticky (you definitely don't want sticky lips when your bf kisses you) and gives a hint of pink colour on your lips.

I tried to use mostly drugstore products for this because you might not be paying for the Valentine’s dinner tonight but still, you don’t need to spend a fortune to look sultry and polished tonight!
