March Favourites 2014 & Giveaway

It’s Monthly Favourites Timeeeee! Yayyyyy! And these are my first favourites for this spring! Everything looks so pinky and flowery and my mood has become spring-y as well, and I am ready to introduce you to the products I’ve been loving this month!

I fell back in love with a Pupa palette which I had forgotten about. It has got both eyeshadows, lipglosses and a blush but I only use the eyeshadows. I use the top right shadow all over the lid, the purple one on the crease and the bottom right as an inner corner and under brow highlighter. The result is very girly and appropriate for the season. A new addition to my lipstick obsession are the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms. They are simply amazing! I adore the original Kissable Balm Stains but these take you to a whole new level! They are pigmented, moisturising, they apply like a dream and the shades are wonderful. I am obsessed with Showy and Elusive for now! I’ve also been very positively surprised with the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil. It is a tint on one side and a soft waxy pencil on the other. The shade I use is Love is Blonde and I really love it. I mostly use the tint after I fill in my eyebrows with powder for that extra definition. Now that the weather is milder and our makeup looks less smoky I’ve been gravitating most towards brown eyeliners. And for that reason I’ve brought out my Sephora Contour Eye Pencil 12 Hour Wear which is great for lining my waterline and creating a much softer smoky look. I don’t usually try new hair products because I don’t really do much with my hair on an everyday basis, especially when it comes to styling. I just want it to be shiny and healthy! However, this month I discovered the Gliss Ultimate Volume Root Push-Up Spray and have been amazed! You apply it to damp hair after the shower, it doesn’t weigh your hair down, it gives phenomenal volume even to my super straight, fine hair and all in all it did wonders for me. The sunglasses that you see in the picture are my new obsession! First of all they are mint green (!), secondly they are Ray Ban style which suits my face and thirdly they look so cool! I bought them from a local shop and been wearing them ever since.

Another favourite this month has been my trip to Russia. It was a business trip which means it was very tiring but it was an amazing experience! We visited 6 cities, from Vladivostok and Siberia to Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and it was very beautiful and interesting. In Moscow there is a Bath & Body Works shop that we always make time for and this time was no exception! Among other things (a lot of other things!) I got the Velvet Sugar fine fragrance mist and body lotion. It smells very fruity as its top notes are strawberries, nectarine and pear blossom but sweet as well, because of the vanilla and sugared musk that it contains! I'm in love!
